Data Production

Data stored on a computer provides insight into what the user has done with it.  The operating system’s Registry Hive, together with the software programs, stores a tremendous amount of data about the user’s daily activities, including web pages visited, web-based emails viewed and composed, the insertion of external storage devices, accessing of server files and files saved on thumb drives, program installations and deletions, and even remnants of the use of wiping/anti-forensics tools.  Because of our litigation background, we know when to seek out and analyze such information and how to make it useful in court.
